Two minute Guide to Joining a Multi-player game
How do I join a game? Answer: Here is how you start playing on Heat.net 1. Find and make note of an IP number. ( It's four sets of numbers separated by three full stops. i.e. 212.63.255.35 ) 2. Load Darkstone 3. From the main Menu, choose New game, then Multi-player 4. Choose TCP/IP, then Join Game 5. Now enter the IP number you wrote down a moment ago 6. If you done everything correct, you should get a scroll with the name of the host. Click on this to start. If you do not see any names or just an blank scroll, then you have a problem. ( See below for a possible solution.) |

Q. I enter the IP Address, but I get a blank scroll. (I don't see any names on the scroll) Answer: (1) Make sure you are using the latest patch. - If you are using an "out of the box" v1.00 you won't be able to play with other versions. You need at least v1.03 which is compatible with v1.04 and v1.05 (2) Make sure your character level, is high enough. i.e. Your character need to be at least level 20 (or above) to join an "Expert" game and Level 35 and above to join an "Masters" game. |
